Why Add Sources?

Adding sources ensures that your AI Assistant can respond more accurately and with specific, detailed information related to your business—going beyond the default instructions. For example, if your website contains complex product details, FAQs, or service offerings, you can direct the assistant to reference those specific sections when answering visitor questions.

1. Add Sources for Training

In Demystify AI Studio's Build-A-Bot, this section allows you to provide material that your AI Assistant will be trained on. You can add either web pages or documents (such as PDFs, DOCX, DOC, or TXT files) to help the AI Assistant better understand your business and ensure its responses are aligned with your content.

• Web Pages: Click the "Add web page" button to input a URL. The AI Assistant will use the content from that page in its responses.
• Documents: Click the "Add document" button to upload files. Supported formats include PDF, DOCX, DOC, and TXT. The information from these documents will inform the assistant’s answers.

2. Trained Sources Overview

Once sources are added, they will appear in the Trained on list. This section displays:

• Source: The name or URL of the web page or document that has been added.
• Status: Indicates whether the source has been processed and integrated into the AI's training.

You can monitor the status of each source here to ensure that the assistant is properly trained on the added material.

By regularly updating this section with relevant, up-to-date sources, your AI Assistant stays current with any new business updates, promotions, or product changes.
